I have worked with many CFO’s over the years and you are up there with the best. Tough, occasionally touchy but always talking business and not accountancy bull. So different to the average, political, fearful-of-power, follow-the-rules technician.

I have worked with Michael for the past 10 years during which time our Network grew substantially. He was key to concluding our deals with AEIOU in Shanghai, SS+K, MCD, THAT in New York, Scarecrow in Mumbai and Expression in Dubai, as well as numerous start-ups across the Network. Michael has been our continuous link with the M&C Saatchi Network from the moment we started our informal discussions through to deal completion and integration post deal. He has been there every step of the way ensuring that our relationship was one of trust. We have also gone to Michael when we have problems which feel unsolvable and he finds a solution which is simple but carefully considered. I can not recommend Michael more highly.

Michael was a terrific partner for us when we were acquired by M&C Saatchi. As our main financial partner, we worked very closely with him, and more importantly, were quite dependent on his judgment and integrity. At every turn, he was fantastic. He was central to our successful deal and we're forever grateful.

Michael has been a fantastic finance partner for me. He was instrumental in setting up the New York office and helped greatly in my transition to the USA and in launching a new business in New York. He also continued this support as I relocated back to the UK to take on the role of CEO and set up a NY-Lon operating model. Michael executed our incentive schemes to ensure our senior executive team were suitably motivated. He also ensured we had a tailored made finance team in NY, which meant we could hit the ground running with people we not only trusted immediately, but who became much respected key members of the growing team. 

Michael Peters - Exceptional team player - Not only does Michael understand the numbers he also understands the business. When it comes to strategic financial and business development planning, establishing goals for growth and to understanding what this takes from an operational POV, he has all the knowledge, experience and empathy necessary to support results. His approach and communication are always straight forward and he has the ability to simplify what seems complicated in a logical and efficient manner. He brings common sense and business sense to issues and process and has been terrific in helping me managing our business! 

Michael is the finance guy who non-finance guys want to hug (speaking metaphorically, unless of course he wants to?). He’s sharp with numbers that blockheads like me can’t manage, and he brings consistently good judgment to management as well as money matters. Michael led M&C’s purchase of our agency, which came off with barely a howl, squeal or groan. If there were some hurdles, he helped to lower them quickly and equitably. Even when terms got a little complicated, he kept the negotiations simple and productive. Life within M&C benefitted from Michael’s talent for spotting ways for us to be more efficient and profitable without inhibiting our work style. Our style includes occasional beers after work, which we always welcomed Michael to even if he is, indeed, a superb finance guy. 

I've worked closely with Michael over the last 3 years as we have expanded the M&C Saatchi footprint here in Asia and he's been a great support. Michael is unique in that he has the rigour and detail of an accountant combined with strong commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial approach.

Michael is our Global Finance Director, we worked with him at the beginning of the creation of the agency, he was the man that we finished the terms to launch M&C Saatchi in Mexico City.  He has always been firm and kind at the same time, he is very professional but most importantly he is a great person. He always helps us to have an eye on the horizon and our feet on the ground. I never forget before we signed the share holders agreement, he said to me "this is not only a business agreement this is a pact between knights."
